Introducing the new cat to your current cat will be an ordeal and you should prepare yourself accordingly. I have a list her to help you but the most important thing you need and that too in abundance is “Patrience”! After the first step let them smell each other in the confines of a crate or through a fence. Let them be familiar with each other before an in person introduction. The time it takes for your cats to even get into the same room will have to be judged by you and you alone. Keep a close eye on their behaviours. It is not an exact science.
